As a scheduler, you can handle the ever-increasing demand for care resources by
broadcasting home visits to resources in multiple service regions. Broadcasting helps you save
time, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure patients receive timely care. To help you get a
broader reach, you can broadcast up to 50 home visits to three service regions at a
time.

To broadcast visits:
Manage Home Health
Your home health agency may have some unassigned visits due to a shortage of matching care
resources in the service region. Broadcasting helps you to notify resources across multiple
regions about such unassigned visits. Home Health identifies care resources with matching skills
in the broadcasted service regions and sends a notification to their Field Service Mobile app.
Care resources view details of the broadcasted visits and accept them if their schedule permits.
If no care resource accepts the visit within the scheduled visit date, the broadcast request
expires.
The name of the tab and page where you can broadcast visits depends on how your Salesforce admin
configures your org. Contact your Salesforce admin if you need help.
In the App Launcher, find and select Home Health.
Go to the Service Appointments tab and open the
Unassigned Visits list view.
Select a maximum of 50 home visits and click Broadcast.
You can’t broadcast visits with an invalid start or due date. Also, you can’t broadcast a
visit more than once.
In the Broadcast Visits window, select a maximum of three service regions.
Click Broadcast.
You receive a bell notification indicating the broadcast status.
Meanwhile, Home Health identifies matching care resources in the background and notifies them
about the visit availability.
