Visit cancellations are unavoidable. That’s why Home Health provides a quick and
flexible cancellation process to save time, minimize manual errors, and promote efficient resource
utilization. As a scheduler, you can cancel a single visit or multiple upcoming recurring visits
in one go if your care resources or patients can’t make it to their appointments on the scheduled
date.

To cancel visits:
Manage Home Health
The location of the user interface where you can cancel visits depends on how your Salesforce
admin configures your org. If you can’t find the user interface, ask your Salesforce admin for
help.
In the App Launcher, find and select Home Health.
Go to the Accounts tab and open the patient’s record page.
In the All Home Visits section, select the visit.
Note Use the calendar view and filters to find specific visits.
Click the Action button, and then do one of the following:
To cancel a single start of care visit or recurring visit, select
Cancel Visit.
To cancel subsequent recurring visits, select Cancel Subsequent
Visits. If the visit count is more than 25, Home Health may require some
additional time to process the cancellations.
Note
If you cancel one of the dependent visits, Home Health cancels the other visit as
well. And, if you cancel subsequent visits, Home Health cancels all subsequent and
dependent visits.
If you cancel a visit that’s part of a group visit, Home Health cancels the visit and
removes it from the group. There are no other changes to the group visit.
Enter the cancellation reason and then click Confirm.
A message confirming the cancellation appears.
Click OK.
