Reassign Visits to Another Care Resource with Home Health
If a care resource assigned to one or more visits asks for a change in assignments, you
can reassign those visits to another care resource from their record page. For the reassignment,
you can either manually select the new care resource to assign the visits to, or you can let Home
Health automatically assign the visits to a new care resource.
Required Editions
Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Health Cloud and
the Home Health Add-on license
User Permissions Needed
To reassign visits:
Manage Home Health
Note If you choose to automatically reassign the visit, the system selects the resource that is
the best match, which could be the care resource that was originally assigned.
In the App Launcher, find and select Home Health.
Go to the Service Resources tab and open the care resource’s record
page.
Go to the Home Visits subtab.
Select the visits that you want to reassign. You can select up to five visits at a
time.
Note Use the calendar view and filters to zero in on particular visits.
Click either Auto-Assign or Assign
Manually.
If you clicked Auto-Assign, select an appropriate scheduling policy.
If you clicked Assign Manually, select the care resource that you want
to reassign the visits to.
Click Next and Finish.
That’s all you have to do for now. If you chose to automatically reassign the visit, we’ll
notify you when we’re done assigning a new care resource to the visit.
