User Permissions Needed
To create and save Lightning pages in the Lightning App Builder:
Customize Application
Before configuring appointment guidance, create the custom screen flow for Appointment
Guidance. For more information see Create an Appointment Guidance Flow.
From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Lightning App Builder, and
then select Lightning App Builder.
Select Edit next to the page that includes the Healthcare
Appointment Scheduler component.
Open the attributes panel by selecting the Healthcare Appointment Scheduler
component.
In the field for Appointment Guidance Flow, select the custom appointment guidance screen
flow that you created.
To automatically launch the flow when the page loads, select Auto Launch
Appointment Guidance. Otherwise, call center agents visiting this page must click
Appointment Guidance.
Note There’s a separate feature that is set in the Work Type Code Set Bundle object that
automatically launches another flow after a visit type is selected. If the output of your
Appointment Guidance flow is one such visit type, then there’s the potential for an endless
loop.
To change the label for launching appointment guidance, enter a new name in the Label for
Launching Appointment Guidance field. The default is Appointment Guidance. This field accepts
custom labels in the format {!$Label.customLabelName}.
To include filter fields that are set by the custom Appointment Guidance flow and not
already displayed on the provider preferences panel, select Add Field in
the Search Panel Fields section.
Note Each time you click Add Field, any fields configured since the
component was last updated are added. Click Add Field multiple times to see all the available
fields. The Add Field button appears unavailable after all fields have been added.
