Care observations typically come from external systems. As a care coordinator, you can
also add care observations manually. You can then use the remote monitoring charts to analyze
the data and health metrics to track patient health.

To create a Care Observation record:
Public read\write access to the Account object
From the App Launcher, find and select Care Observations.
Click New.
Enter a name for the care observation.
In Observed Subject, select the patient whose care is being tracked.
Select a date and time when the care observation was made.
Select a code for the care metric being observed. For example, Pounds.
Select a unit of measure.
Enter a numeric value for the metric observed.
In Expected Value, select a Care Metric Target.
Note To include this care observation data in remote monitoring and to analyze this data
to track patient health, select Monitored remotely. If you don’t
select Monitored remotely, this care observation doesn’t appear
in remote monitoring charts.
Save your changes.
