          Make Video Visits even more convenient for patients by creating an Experience Cloud site with self-scheduling. Provide an intuitive video platform, automated appointment notifications, and easy access links for authenticated and guest users.

          Virtual Care Self-Service brings Provider Search, Intelligent Appointment Management, Salesforce Scheduler, and Video Visits features together with the power of Omnistudio and Digital Experiences to create an interactive interface for patients.

          1. Verify Video Visit Self-Service Licenses and Permissions for Admins
            Video Visit Self-Service requires that admins are assigned Omnistudio and Health Cloud Community or Health Cloud Community Plus licenses and specific Health Cloud and Patient Appointment Scheduling permissions.
          2. Get Your Org Ready for Video Visit Self-Service
            Video Visits Self-Service uses Omnistudio, Provider Search, Intelligent Appointment Management, Salesforce Scheduler, and Video Visits. Verify that all of these features are enabled and configured.
          3. Connect Appointment Reasons to Engagement Channel Types
            Create engagement channels, such as in-person, video, and phone, that service resources can add to their shifts and work types. For self-service video appointment scheduling it’s necessary to create Engagement Channel Type records in addition to adding video to the Service Appointment default appointment.

            Create an Experience Cloud site with self-service appointment and video visit capabilities so that your customers can self-schedule their video appointments.

          6. Setup an Email Appointment Link for Authenticated Users
            Let your patients know with an automated email that their appointment is confirmed. Provide a convenient button in the email to access your Experience Cloud site.
          7. Set Up an Email Appointment Link for Guest Users
            Confirm a guest user’s appointment with an automated email that includes a button to access your Experience Cloud site where they can access their video visit.
          8. Check Patient Location for Appointments
            Create custom fields and edit an Omniscript to check that a patient’s location at the time of a virtual appointment matches with a care provider license jurisdiction.
