            Create Apps by Using Prebuilt Templates

            Templates help you create a custom app with the fields and data based on which you want to develop your prediction model. The app templates for Consumer Goods let you sync external point-of-sales data, and consume the data to generate training or scoring datasets and predict revenue uplift. Or, you can use the template deployment wizard to create an app with custom fields. The app then deploys prebuilt recipes and creates an Einstein Discovery model.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Professional, Enterprise, and Unlimited editions where Consumer Goods Cloud is enabled.

            You can either import data from an external source, use the Consumer Goods cloud schema, or import data in CSV format. For more information on how to prepare your data, see Prerequisites.

            • Import External Store Sales Data Into Your Salesforce Org (Optional)
              With the External Sales Data app, you can input a preconfigured external data source and its object, and then map and sync the data to your Salesforce org.
            • Generate Predictions
              The Use Predictions to Power Sales template consumes the generated external dataset by using the External Sales Data template and the preconfigured and synced data from the Consumer Goods schema. The Use Predictions to Power Sales template runs the preconfigured recipes that perform transformations and aggregations to generate a feature set and training and scoring datasets.
            • Create a Revenue Uplift Model
              Use the Store Revenue Story template to deploy the data that you imported. This template contains recipes for visualization and predictions on store visits. To maximize store revenue, the Store Revenue Story template consumes the generated training and scoring dataset and then deploys the model.
            • Import External Store Sales Data Into Your Salesforce Org (Optional)
              With the Pint of Sale Data app, you can input a preconfigured external data source and its object, and then map and sync the data to your Salesforce org.
            • Generate Predictions
              The Visit Frequency Optimizer template consumes the generated external dataset by using the Point of Sale Data template and the preconfigured and synced data from the Consumer Goods schema. The Visit Frequency Optimizer template runs the preconfigured recipes that perform transformations and aggregations to generate a feature set and training and scoring datasets.
            • Create a Smart Visit Story
              Use the Visit Frequency Story template to deploy the data that you imported. This template contains recipes for visualization and predictions on store visits. To optimize visit frequency, the Visit Frequency Story template consumes the generated training and scoring dataset and then deploys the model.
