            Configure Your Calendar Dataset (Optional)

            You can configure the default calendar dataset to match your business calendar. Consider a scenario in which your business defines calendar data that is different from the default dataset. For example, the financial year of your business is between November and October, instead of the typical calendar year from April to March. Or, your business week starts from Thursday instead of Monday. Or, you have only four working days in a business week. In any of these scenarios, you can adjust the default dataset to reflect the changes that your business requires.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Professional, Enterprise, and Unlimited editions where Consumer Goods Cloud is enabled.

            The default calendar dataset contains these fields.

            Field NameDescription
            start_date Start date of the interval in yyyy-mm-dd format.
            end_date End date of the interval in yyyy-mm-dd format.
            year Format of the business year: yyyy.
            week Format of the business week: ww.

            To configure your business calendar according to the default calendar datasets, perform these actions.

            1. Download the default CSV files.
              1. calendar.csv
              2. day_calendar.csv
            2. Redefine your business calendar in the CSV files.
              Important
              Important Ensure that the calendar data is in sync in both CSV files. For example, if your business week starts from Thursday, ensure that it matches in each CSV file.
            3. Upload the files to these datasets in Salesforce org.
