          Generate Predictions

The Use Predictions to Power Sales template consumes the generated external dataset by using the External Sales Data template and the preconfigured and synced data from the Consumer Goods schema. The Use Predictions to Power Sales template runs the preconfigured recipes that perform transformations and aggregations to generate a feature set and training and scoring datasets.

          Required Editions

Available in: Professional, Enterprise, and Unlimited editions where Consumer Goods Cloud is enabled.
          1. In CRM Analytics, click Create and then select App.
          2. To view the related templates in the gallery, in the Create a New App dialog box, select the Smart Selling tag.
          3. Select the Use Predictions to Power Sales template, and then click Continue.
          4. Click Create a brand new app.
          5. Click Continue.
          6. In the Mapped Sales Dataset field, select the dataset that you created with the External Sales Data template or your preconfigured dataset that is generated from the Consumer Goods schema or CSV file.
          7. Click Looks good, next, and then enter a name for the app.
          8. Click Create, and then wait for the template to create the app.
This app then runs the recipes and generates the required training and scoring datasets.
          9. To view the list of generated datasets, refresh the page and click the DATASETS tab.
