Configure Transaction Generation for Policy Lifecycle Events

Enable or disable transaction and transaction-detail (breakdown) generation for policy lifecycle events.

Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Professional, Enterprise, and Unlimited Editions where Insurance Brokerage is enabled
User Permissions Needed
To configure transaction generation for policy lifecycle events: Context Service Runtime, FSC Insurance, Insurance Brokerage Foundation Insurance Brokerage Policy Management, Insurance Brokerage Policy Management User Advanced, and Salesforce Pricing Run Time User
  1. In Setup, find and select Brokerage.
  2. Select Policy Management and then select Policy Lifecycle.
  3. Turn on or off Generate Insurance Policy Transactions to generate or not generate policy transactions for policy lifecycle events.
  4. Turn on or off Generate Insurance Policy Transaction Details to generate policy transaction details for policy lifecycle events.
    To turn on Generate Insurance Policy Transaction Details, Generate Insurance Policy Transactions must be enabled.
    Note
    Note After enabling transaction details, don’t disable the setting. Turning it off can prevent agency billing from processing policy events correctly, resulting in inaccurate or inconsistent billing.
