            Create an Insurance Policy

            Create an insurance policy to serve as the parent record for assets, participants, coverages, and surcharges.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Lightning Experience
            Available in: Professional, Enterprise, and Unlimited Editions where Insurance Brokerage is enabled
            User Permissions Needed
            To create an insurance policy: FSC Insurance, Insurance Brokerage Foundation Insurance Brokerage Policy Management, and Insurance Brokerage Policy Management User Advanced
            1. From the App Launcher, find and select Insurance Policies.
            2. Click New.
            3. Enter these policy details. The fields Policy Number, Name Insured, Effective From Date and Effective To Date are mandatory.
            4. Save the policy.
