Add Child Specs to a Root Product

After you create a root product spec, you can add child specs to it. Child specs include Coverages, Insured Items, Insured Parties, and Rating Facts.

1. On the Coverages, Insured Items, or Rating Facts tab, click Add New.
   

   Tip

   Add Insured Party specs to the Insured Items tab.

2. On the list that appears, select all the child specs to add.
3. Click Select at the top right of the list window.
   The child specs appear in the tab

Customize or configure child specs as needed. Each type of child spec can be configured a little differently.

Important

Configuring child specs includes creating parent-child relationships between specs, such as making coverages the children of insured items.
