Assign a Pricing Procedure to a Quote
To provide a default pricing procedure at the quote level, or to create discounts or policies that apply across products, assign a pricing procedure to a quote.

- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Procedure Plan, and then select Procedure Plan Definitions.
- Click New.
- Enter a title and a developer name.
- Select Insurance as the process type.
- Find and select Transaction Processing Type as the primary object.
- As the context definition, select the extended context you created from InsuranceContext.
- Save the definition.
- Open the procedure plan definition. If necessary, set the context mapping to read and save data from a mapped object.
- In Procedure Plan Sections, click Add.
- Enter a name, and select Pricing Procedure as the section type. Make sure that Standard is selected, and then save your changes.
- Select Rule-based as the resolution type, and then click Add Criteria.

Set the criteria for the rule-based pricing procedure.
For example, to set InsuranceDefaultPricingProcedure as the pricing procedure to be used for a transaction processing type called Auto Quotes, the pricing admin sets this criterion.
Resource Operator Output Value Label Equals Auto Insurance Type (The MasterLabel value) - Add as many criteria as you need for your pricing setup.
- Save your changes, and activate the definition of your procedure plan.
