          Activate a Rule Group

          By activating a rule group, you lock it to restrict editing existing rules and adding new ones.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
          Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions with Digital Insurance Platform

          Activate a rule group when the underwriting rules are ready for execution. Once activated, you cannot edit existing rules or add new ones. To make rule changes, you must deactivate the rule group.

          Note
          Note Activation applies to the entire rule group. It doesn’t impact the active or inactive status of individual rules within the group.
          1. From the root product details page, click the Underwriting Rules tab. Depending on your organization’s configuration, this tab may have a different label.
          2. Expand the rule group you want to activate, and then click Activate.
