Transfer Setup Data Between Orgs
Copy setup data from one org to another with the Transfer Setup Data plug-in for Salesforce CLI. The plug-in preserves record hierarchies and relationships, so you can promote configurations from sandbox to production without manually recreating and relinking records.
Moving setup data between orgs typically means creating records again and restoring relationships between them. With the Transfer Setup Data plug-in, you can finish this migration in a single command. You start with a dataset definition to specify the objects, fields, and relationships to transfer. Then, you run the command with this definition to copy records from your source org to your target org in one operation.
To replicate Digital Insurance product models between orgs, use the built-in standard dataset definition. Create custom dataset definitions to transfer any standard or custom objects that your implementation needs.
For installation steps and the full CLI reference, see Transfer Setup Data plugin README. To learn more about the dataset definitions, see Data Transfer User Guide.
