Reassign Producer Roles

Reassign producer roles to accounts or policies when the original producer is no longer associated with the account.

Reassign Producer Role to Account

Reassign a producer role for any producer within an account.

Available in: Lightning Experience

Available in: Professional, Enterprise, and Unlimited Editions where Financial Service Cloud and Insurance Brokerage are enabled

User Permissions Needed
To reassign producer role to account:	Insurance Commissions Management and Insurance Brokerage User

From the account page, select the Producer Role Assignment related list.
Click the action menu for the record that you want to reassign the producer role to, and select Reassign Producer.
Select the required values and click Next.
Review the confirmation message and click Next.
Review the producer role assignment in policies related to the account, and save your changes.
If you have policies for which the commission is already processed, a notification appears stating that the producers can’t be reassigned for those policies.

Reassign a producer role to any producer within a policy.

To reassign producer role to policy:	Insurance Commissions Management and Insurance Brokerage User

From the policy record page, select the Producer Role Assignment related list.
Click the action menu for the record that you want to reassign the producer role to, and select Reassign Producer.
Select the required values and click Done.
If commission is already processed for the policy for the selected dates, set the Producer Commission Status to a value that was configured as invalid or change the effective date. To reprocess the eligibility, change the associated commission statement line item status to a status that was configured for reprocessing eligibility.
