            Prerequisites

            Here are a few things to consider before building a product model.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Lightning Expereince
            Available in: Professional, Enterprise, and Unlimited Editions where Financial Service Cloud and Insurance Brokerage are enabled.
            User Permissions Needed
            To build a product model: Product Catalog Management
            1. Create record types for root product, coverage specification, and benefit specification.
            2. Associate the product specification record types with the record types you created. For example, associate the root product with Product, coverage specification with Coverage, and benefit specification with Benefit. The specification types are shipped out of the box.
