Calculate Pricing Discount for a Commercial Multiroot Quote
Add or remove a product to a commercial quote to calculate the discounted premium for
the quote. You can recalculate the premium every time you add or remove products.
Required Editions
Available in: Lightning
Experience
Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions with
the Insurance Industries managed package.
From the Quote list page, open the quote that you want to modify.
On the Insurance Commercial Quote LWC, add or remove products as needed.
To add products, click Add Products, select the products,
and then click Add.
To delete a product, click the Remove button to the right of the
root product.
Every time you add or remove a root product, the Rate Now button
appears for all root products.
Click the Rate Now button to initiate the rating process for each
root product.
The premium is repriced after considering the applicable discounts and appears on
the page.
