          Create a Claim Product Spec

          A claim product spec describes the people and property that are involved in a claim. It also includes the rules that are used to automate aspects of claim processing

          1. On the Products list page, click New.
          2. On the New Product page, choose Claim Product, then click Next.
          3. Fill out the details, then click Save.
          4. Add attributes to the claim product spec if needed.
          5. Add claim injury specs to the Involved Injuries tab.

            After you add these, they appear as Product Child Items on the Related tab.

          6. Add claim property spec(s) to the Involved Property tab.

            After you add these, they appear as Product Child Items on the Related tab.

          7. Add Underwriting Rules to the Rules tab based on your business needs.

            Even if you see them, do not enter anything into the following tabs when you're creating a claim product spec:

            • Rating Facts

            • Taxes & Fees

            • Insured Parties

            • Insured Items
