Approve or Reject Payment Authorization Requests
When claims adjusters process more complex and expensive claims, users authorized to approve larger amounts receive notifications of pending requests. The managers and supervisors with greater financial authority link directly to claim details and approve or reject financial transactions.
Depending on their preferences, approvers receive an in-app or email notification.
From the approval request, the approver clicks the claim link to review details, and then approves or rejects the request. Workflows within Salesforce approval processes ensure approvers don't exceed their own maximum thresholds when they approve financial transactions. These workflows launch when an approver attempts to update a claim's financial authority status to Authority Approved.
The approver can also reassign the request to another supervisor or manager if the amount is too large for them to approve.
