Policyholder Digital Experience Site
Your policyholders need access to view and make changes to their account, policies, claims, and billing information. The Policyholder Digital Experience template and components get you started in building a custom Digital Experience site that meets those needs.
Where: The Policyholder site is styled with the Newport Design System. If you have a Vlocity Insurance License, you can access the template and components that comprise this feature.
You get the Policyholder Digital Experience template by installing the Insurance FSC Unmanaged Package. To learn how, see .
Who: Your Vlocity developers configure the Policyholder site. Policyholders you've granted credentials to can log on to the site.
Why: The Policyholder site gives your policyholders the ability to view important information about their account, including:
-
Policy details
-
Open claims status
-
Recent account activity
-
Billing status
-
Recent transactions
-
Insured items details
-
Contact information for their agent
You can also empower your policyholders to manage their account preferences and policies. With the Policyholder site, your policyholders can manage their account by doing these tasks:
-
View billing info
-
Update contact methods
-
Print ID cards
-
Change their address
At the policy level, your Policyholder site users can:
-
Create claims
-
Modify their coverage
-
Change their billing address
-
Additional options dependent upon the type of policy
Example: Add or remove drivers and vehicles on an auto policy.
We left it simple because we expect you to customize it to make it your own.
How: We provide a template and a set of components to get you started. But we expect that you'll want to customize the components we provide and possibly create your own.
Here's an overview of how you use the template and components to build your own Policyholder site:
- Install the Insurance FSC unmanaged package to get access to the Policyholder Experience template.
- Create a Policyholder site for your users.
- In the Experience Builder, save your own custom version of the Insurance Policy Holder template.
- Customize the Policyholder site components to fit your brand and your users' needs. Create your own components if you need them.
- Using your custom template and custom components, build your Policyholder site.
- When it's ready, publish your Policyholder site and start granting your policyholders access to it.
