          Quote Rating

          Quote Rating

You can rate quotes as many times as you need to during the quoting process. When you rate a quote, optional coverage validation rules and optional coverage relationship rules run, and a price is created and displayed for the coverage.

          Rate Now

When you make a change to a quote by adding, modifying, or removing a coverage, the Total premium displays in red, and a Rate Now button appears below the Total premium.

Click Rate Now to see the new total premium.

When you click the Rate Now button, prices are calculated and displayed for products and insured items or insured parties.

          Note
          Note

When viewing a quote, no price displays on the Quote LWC if the cost of the coverage for an insured item or insured party is zero.

The taxes and fees are calculated and included in the total price and are displayed separately below the Total.

          Real-time Price Rerating

When you make changes to an Endorsement (mid-term adjustment) quote, you can see pricing changes in real-time. This lets you see how the changes affect the total price before issuing the updated policy.

To use Real-time Price Rerating, make changes to an existing quote by adding, removing, or changing coverages. When you make a change, the total premium, insured item premium, and affected line item price appear in red.

A message appears above the Total premium that shows you the Net Price Change for Term:
