          View a Specific Policy

          View a Specific Policy

A policy shows details about coverage, insured items, and insured parties.

          1. Go to the Policy list view.
          2. Click the name of the policy you want to view.
          3. To view coverage attributes, click the coverage's bar.
          4. To view coverage and insured item details, click the gray carat on the right side of the bar and choose View Details.
            Note
            Note

You can also view details about Insured Items or Insured Parties on the Insured Items LWC tab.

          5. If this policy has insured parties listed as children of insured items (like an auto policy with drivers attached to each car), to view the insured party details click the name of the insured party.

In this case, if the insured party has an asterisk (*) next to it, it's the primary insured party.

          • Issue a Policy from the Quote UI
You can issue a policy directly from a quote using the Issue Policy button.
          • Create Policy Versions
With policy versioning, all changes to a policy are tracked in different versions of that policy. So you can create a new version of an existing policy, while maintaining the existing policy record as-is.
          • Compare Policy Versions
See how a policy changed over time by comparing policy versions. Do this from an Insurance Policy or Policy (Asset) record.
