          Manage Appointments with Intelligent Appointment Management

          Schedule and manage appointments with Health Cloud’s Intelligent Appointment Management console. Depending on your org's configuration, you can schedule a single resource appointment with a single provider or asset, and a multi-resource appointment with two providers or a provider and an asset. You can also schedule recurring appointments for ongoing care and multi-step appointments for an appointment series.

          • Schedule an Appointment with a Single Provider or Asset
            Schedule an appointment with a single provider or asset using the Single-Resource Appointment option on the Appointment Management console.
          • Schedule an Appointment with Multiple Resources
            Ensure that all relevant resources are available for patient appointments. Use the Multi-Resource Appointment option on the Appointment Management console to schedule an appointment with two providers or with a single provider and a single asset. Find the common open time slots for selected providers, clinics, rooms, equipment, or other assets. Designate provider attendance as mandatory or optional, and conveniently book all the resources at the same time.
          • Schedule a Recurring Appointment
            Create a series of ongoing appointments at a specified frequency. For example, schedule physical therapy, mental health counseling, or chronic disease management appointments that occur every Wednesday for 12 weeks. Set the number of appointment occurrences and adjust individual occurrences before booking the appointment series. Modify or cancel an occurrence later, or cancel the entire series if needed.
          • Schedule a Series of Related Appointments
            Book a series of related appointments at once. Select a template that specifies the types of appointments to book in a series, in the right order, at the right time intervals. Then walk through the steps to book each of the appointments and confirm the availability of appointment slots each step of the way. You can skip appointments that you don’t want to schedule yet, and act promptly when notifications alert you to scheduling issues.
          • Schedule a Group Appointment
            Help your patients receive the best care by scheduling group appointments for multiple patients or attendees.
          • Manage Group Appointment Attendees
            Quickly modify the attendees of group appointments from the appointment list.
          • View a Patient's Appointments
            View a list of past and upcoming appointments.
          • Modify Appointments
            Accommodate patient and provider preferences and availability by modifying appointment details such as the date, time, provider, and asset. If an appointment was booked as part of a series of appointments, view the overall context and modify subsequent appointments in the series. Easily add or remove resources from existing multi-resource appointments.
          • Cancel Appointments
            Cancel a single appointment for a patient or cancel all of the appointments in a series at once.
          • Add a Patient to a Waitlist
            Add patients to a waitlist so that they can receive appointment invitations for canceled service appointments. You can add patients to a waitlist from the Waitlist Participants page or from a waitlist’s Related tab. Ensure patients have the correct permissions to respond to waitlist appointment invitations in your self-scheduling portal.
