Use the Recommendations section to see a consolidated list of recommendations that you
added during the current medication reconciliation. From here, you can create, change, or remove a
recommendation, or add more specifics to a recommendation such as notes for the provider and
patient.
Required Editions
When creating recommendations, you have the flexibility to add the same recommendation to
multiple medications or add a generic recommendation at the reconciliation level. The generic
recommendations aren’t specific to any medication but are based on your observations of the
patient’s medication regimen and health history. They can relate to potential lifestyle changes,
filling care gaps, and more.

User Permissions Needed
To manage patient’s medication recommendations
Create, Read, and Update permissions on the following objects:
Account
Medication Reconciliation
Create, Read, Update, and Delete permissions on the following objects:
Go to the Recommendations section of the Medication Reconciliation tab.
Review the list of recommendations and update them to add more details.
To create a recommendation, click Add Recommendation. In the New
Recommendation window, enter a recommendation name and select the recommended type and
subtype.
To link the new recommendation to multiple medications, click Add recommendation
to one or more medications and select the medications. If you don’t select a
medication, the recommendation is added directly to the reconciliation.
Save your changes.
