To eliminate manual entry when logging in to the Consumer Goods Cloud offline mobile
app, tap the link in the email attachment or use the QR code that contains the link. The consumer
key, the call back URL, and the optional My Domain ID are parsed from the URI and takes you
directly to the login page.
Required Editions
Available in: Lightning Experience in Professional, Unlimited, and
Enterprise Editions that have Consumer Goods Cloud enabled.
Note Before you tap the link, ensure that the Consumer Goods mobile offline app is
closed.
The structure of the link
is:
consumergoodscloud://firstTimeLaunch?sfConsumerKey=[consumer_key]&sfConsumerSecret=[consumer_secret]
&sfCallbackURL=[callback_URL]&customDomain=[domainID]('My Domain' id of sf-Org - Optional*)
The URI used here must meet the URI standards. After you click the link with the optional
parameter, customDomain, you’re redirected to the Salesforce page and the Use Custom Domain
option in the login page isn’t displayed. If this parameter isn’t used, then the Use Custom
Domain option is displayed in the login page.
Use this process only during the first initialization. Otherwise, the parameters are
skipped.
The deployment proceeds post the successful login.
Note Reinstall the application if there’s any incorrect input in the QR code or the link.
