            Create a Business Object Contract

            Create a BO for a new object record.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited Editions
            User Permissions Needed
            To create a business object: Customizer, Admin

            You can individually create BusinessObject, ListObject, and LookUp contracts. You can create a BO for an existing module or for custom modules.

            1. To add a business object to a module, run: sf modeler workspace add
            2. Select business object from the list of resource types.
            3. Specify a unique name for the business object.
              Use a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 26 characters containing alphanumeric and the underscore symbol. Avoid using 'My' in name.
            4. Select the module that you want to create the business object for.
              The business object contract and its corresponding datasource contract and method (bl.js) files are created in the specified module.
