          Define a Sync Rule

          Define a Sync Rule

To distribute the Display object to the CG Cloud offline mobile app, sync the object to the mobile device by setting up a sync rule in the Sync Management app.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience

Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions that have Consumer Goods Cloud enabled

          User Permissions Needed
To define a sync rule: CGCloud Sync Admin

Define these Display object fields in the MobilityRelevant field set. Exclude the Type field at this stage.

          • Display Name
          • Description
          • Competitor Display
          • Sales Org
          1. From the App Launcher, find and select Sync Configuration.
          2. Click Tracked Objects.
          3. Click Add Tracked Object and then select Displays.
          4. Define a filter for the display records. In this use case, filter the records by sales org by using this WHERE condition. cgcloud__Sales_Org__c = $User.cgcloud__Mobility_Sales_Org__c.

If you remove the condition and execute, the records linked to a sales org different than 0001 also show in the query results.

          5. In Field Sets, select the MobilityRelevant field set.
          6. Save your changes.
          7. To test the condition, click Execute.

The query results show the fields from the MobilityRelevant field set. You can see that Type__c field data doesn’t show in the result because it isn’t defined in the MobilityRelevant field set.
