          This table describes the values that the attribute areaPattern supports.

          Required Editions

          Available in Lightning Experience in Professional, Unlimited, and Enterprise Editions that have Consumer Goods Cloud enabled.
          areaPattern Child Elements Remarks
          ButtonGridArea One or more number of ImageButton elements. Defines a grid that contains any number of buttons. The layout of the grid and the number of rows and columns depends on the device, device operating system, and device orientation.
          FilterElementArea Any element Defines a special area used to contain the filter elements used in the FilteredViewAreaSection pattern.
          GroupedElementsArea Any element Defines a special area used to contain GroupElement.
          MultiArea Multiple Area elements Defines a special area that acts as a container for multiple areas. Each of these areas can be selected and shown by using SelectAreaor and ValidateAndSelectAreaelement.
          SingleElementArea One arbitrary element Defines an area that contains one arbitrary UI control. Typically used for GroupedList controls.
          TabElementArea Any element Defines an area used in a tabbed view area pattern. It contains TabSelectorcontrol.
          WelcomeArea Only the element called Welcome Defines a special area that contains a welcome message for the user. It’s only used on the main menu page.
          LoginArea

          Defines a special area that contains the UI controls necessary to authenticate a user. It’s only used on the login page.
          Card

          One or more of these elements:

          • CardContainer
          • SyncCardContainer
          • NavigationMenuContainer
          Defines an area that arranges card containers by dividing the available area into columns.
