            Import Your External Data

            Create a remote connection or upload a CSV file to sync external data. Use the synced external data to get predicted carbon emissions from air travel by using CRM Analytics.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Lightning Experience and the Salesforce mobile app
            Available in: Enterprise, Developer, and Unlimited Editions
            User Permissions Needed
            To create a remote connection: Add Analytics Remote Connections, Edit Analytics Dataflows, and Use Analytics
            To use, edit, or delete a remote connection: Edit CRM Analytics Dataflows and Use Analytics

            You can upload external data into Salesforce in these ways:

            • Configure a connector to upload external data into Salesforce, and then use the External Data to Predict Air Travel Emissions template to sync the data.
            • Upload the external data in the CSV format, after making sure that the field labels in the file match the field labels mentioned in Prepare Your External Data.
