Set Up Access for Your Suppliers, Partners, and Affiliates
Set up roles and permissions so that your stakeholders—suppliers, partners, and affiliates—can upload their sustainability data directly into Net Zero Cloud by using the Experience Cloud site that you create.

- Suppliers can enter their emissions data such as sustainability scorecards, helping you increase the accuracy of your scope 3 accounting. Product Emissions Factors, Supplier, Supplier Products, and Sustainability Scorecard are the only objects available to suppliers in Experience Cloud.
- Partner community users such as franchisees or investors can enter their emissions data and do their carbon accounting, which Net Zero Cloud then consolidates in the reporting company’s emissions inventory.
- Affiliate companies can manage their social and governance data, while keeping it separate from the parent company’s social and governance data.

Set Up Salesforce Roles and Profiles
Set up roles and permissions for suppliers, partners, and affiliates to upload their sustainability data directly into Net Zero Cloud.
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Digital Experiences, and then select Settings.
- If needed, select Enable Digital Experiences, and then save your changes.
- Refresh the page, select Allow using standard external profiles for self-registration, user creation, and login, and then save your changes.
- Create at least one role in the role hierarchy and assign it to yourself.
Set Up an Account for the Supplier, Partner, or Affiliate
Set up user accounts for suppliers, partners, and affiliates to upload their sustainability data directly into Net Zero Cloud by using the Experience Cloud site that you create.
- From the App Launcher, find and select Accounts.
- Click New.
- Enter the account name and other information as needed, and then save your changes.
- On the new account record, from the actions menu, select Enable As Partner.
- On the Related tab, in the Contacts section, click New.
- Enter the contact name details and other information as needed, and then save your changes.
- Open the new contact record, and from the actions menu, select Enable Partner User.
- On the Users page, make sure that the user license is Partner Community and that the profile is Partner Community User.
- Enter other information as needed, and then save your changes.

Open the new user record, and assign these permission sets:
- For suppliers: External Engagement Supplier User
- For partner community users and affiliates: Net Zero Cloud: Carbon Accounting for Partners
- Save your changes.
