For auditing purposes, track value changes for key Net Zero Cloud fields in carbon
footprints, energy use records, and annual emissions inventory. These fields are used in carbon
calculations and lookups. Track the value changes by setting up field history
tracking.

To enable Net Zero Cloud features:

To calculate carbon emissions related to the energy use data, turn on Manage Carbon
Accounting.
To track the history of key object fields in the Net Zero Cloud
objects, from Setup, find and select Field History Tracking, and
then turn on Set Net Zero Cloud Defaults.
To archive fields for longer retention time, Net Zero Cloud objects are compatible with
Field Audit Trail.
Default Net Zero Cloud Object Fields to Track Turn on Set Net Zero Cloud Defaults to enable tracking on the key Net Zero Cloud objects and fields for carbon footprint, assets, and annual emissions inventory, and other objects that are listed in this section. Manually select tracking for additional objects and fields or disable tracking by deselecting the objects and fields that are selected by default. If you turn off Set Net Zero Cloud Defaults, you disable tracking for only the objects and fields that are selected for tracking by default. The objects and fields that you manually select aren't affected.
