Use Product Discovery to provide a simple, structured product browsing experience for
sales reps and customers to efficiently identify the most suitable products. Users can see
product information such as images, description, pricing, product bundle details, and product
attributes in a single comprehensive view.
Customize the Product Browsing Experience To specify the information and options shown to your users during product discovery, override a preconfigured flow or use the Lightning App Builder to customize the experience.
Guided Product Selection Close deals faster and smarter with Guided Product Selection. By using a series of targeted questions accessed through the Guide Me button on your product lists, you'll instantly uncover exactly what your customers need.
Search Options in Product Catalog Management Product Catalog Management gives your sales reps three search options to quickly find the products in a catalog. They can choose the search option based on its search capabilities and the size of the product catalog.
Replace Deprecated Permissions Set for Product Discovery Product Discovery includes a permission set for admins who set up Product Discovery, and a permission set for users who browse products. In Winter '25, the Product Discovery permission set license and permission sets are deprecated. The permissions required to access Product Discovery are available in Product Catalog Management permission set licenses and permission sets. So assign the Product Catalog Management permission sets, and then unassign the Product Discovery permission sets.
Product Discovery Lightning Components Product Discovery provides Product List, Product Details, Product Bundle Details, and Product Attribute Details components that you can add to pages on supported Salesforce Lightning Apps and Experience Cloud sites. To provide easy access to these components, some Salesforce Apps also use a tailored version of these components.
Product Discovery with Constraint Rules The Product Discovery with constraint rules experience helps you build accurate transactions as you browse the product catalog. You see real-time transaction details in the transaction preview, along with constraint rule outcomes such as disabled products, product recommendations, and rule messages. When you add or remove a product, Product Discovery automatically saves the change to the transaction, you don't need to pause your browsing or wait for the save to complete. While the save is in progress, you can continue going to a category, searching for more products, or reviewing recommendations. This non-blocking experience keeps the catalog fully interactive always.
