          Validate Configuration Rules in Business Rules Engine

          Rules are complex and can become outdated due to catalog changes. To maintain rule integrity, validate a configuration rule and identify the potential errors caused by catalog changes.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
          Available in: Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions of Revenue Cloud with the Revenue Cloud Growth license or the Revenue Cloud Advanced license
          User Permissions Needed
          To validate a rule: Manage Configurator with Business Rules Engine
          1. From the home page of the Product Catalog Management app, click Product Configuration Rules.
          2. Open the rule that you want to validate.
          3. On the rule details page, click Validate.
            After the validation is complete, identified errors are visible in the Rule Validation Error window. To fix the errors, click Edit Rule.
