Configure a Compliance Status to Automatically Create a Violation

If you’re using Dynamic Assessments to determine regulatory compliance, configure the Fail picklist value on the Compliance Status field to automatically create a regulatory code violation record.

The Assessment Question Response object stores the answers to assessment questions. It has a lookup relationship with regulatory code violations, and a Compliance Status field that indicates whether the response complies with the regulatory code that’s related to the question.

By default, Compliance Status includes the values Pass, Fail, NA, and Issue. To help inspectors and other users quickly create regulatory code violations, define the Fail value as a violation. When you create an omni assessment task for an assessment question, you can optionally add the Compliance Status field to it. That way, when an inspector or other user selects Fail for the assessment question, Public Sector automatically creates a regulatory code violation record.

          1. From Setup, in Object Manager, select Assessment Question Response.
          2. Click Fields & Relationships, and then click Compliance Status.
          3. In Compliance Status Picklist Values, click Edit for the Fail value.
          4. Select Violation.
          5. Save your changes.
