Criteria-Based Search and Filter unifies complex sets of data and aggregates information that’s spread across multiple objects and fields into one searchable object. When you set up Criteria-Based Search and Filter, you select the objects and fields (the criteria) that users can search, and how they can view (filter) and act on the results.
Use Criteria-Based Search and Filter to solve any business need that requires searching complex sets of data stored in multiple objects. For example, use it with Provider Management in Public Sector to create a search experience for caseworkers to find suitable care providers for constituents. You can even use an Omniscript to automatically create a referral as a search result action.
And use Criteria-Based Search and Filter with Talent Recruitment Management to create search experiences for recruiters and job seekers. Public Sector includes two sample search configurations that you can customize: One enables candidates to search for and filter job postings on an external career site, so that they can find a suitable match, and the other helps recruiters to search internally for job applications that match specific hiring criteria.
