          Publish Interaction Notes

          Publish notes in interaction summaries to prevent further edits. For example, publish an interaction note to protect the integrity of your official documentation of a key witness interview. The note can then serve as evidence in an investigation.

          Required Editions

          View supported product editions.
          User Permissions Needed
          To publish interaction notes:

          Interaction Summary

          AND

          OmniStudio User

          Ask your admin to set up an approval process for stakeholders to review notes and, if approved, automatically publish them.

          Note
          Note You cannot delete published notes.

          You can publish an interaction note only if:

          Your profile has read-write access to the Interaction Note Published field on the Interaction Summary object.

          OR

          Another user grants you read-write access to the interaction note when they share it with you.

          Here’s how to publish an interaction note related to a case.

          1. From the App Launcher, find and select Cases.
          2. Select a case.
          3. On the Interaction Summaries tab, select an interaction summary.
          4. For Interaction Note Published, select Yes.
          5. Save your changes.
