Consolidate Job Application Data and Job Opening Data in Searchable Objects
Set up Data Processing Engine definitions to collate job application data in the Job Application Searchable Field object and to collate the job opening data in the Job Posting Searchable Field object.
Required Editions
Clone and Activate the Data Processing Engine Definitions for Job Application Search and Job Posting Search
Public Sector Solutions includes Data Processing Engine definition templates for Job Application Search and Job Posting Search. To collate data from multiple objects in your org for Job Application Search and Job Posting Search, make copies of the Data Processing Engine definition templates and activate them.

- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Data Processing Engine, and then select Data Processing Engine.
- Click Aggregate Job Application Details for Search.

Save As.

Enter a name for the new definition, and then save your changes.
If the Data Processing Engine definition uses objects or fields that you can’t access, you can’t save it. Give yourself the required permissions to access the objects and modify field-level security to access the fields. Also, make the same permission and field-level security changes for the Analytics Cloud Integration User profile to prevent errors when you activate the definition.
- To activate the definition, click Activate.
- Similarly, save and activate a copy of the Data Processing Engine definition template called Aggregate Job Posting Details for Search.
Associate the Data Processing Engine Definition with the Searchable Object Configuration
Configure the searchable object configurations to use the Data Processing Engine definitions that you activated for Job Application Search and Job Posting Search.

- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Criteria, then select Criteria-Based Search and Filter.
- On the Searchable Configuration tab, click Job Application Searchable Object.
- Click Edit.
- For Data Synchronization Job, select the Data Processing Engine definition that you cloned from Aggregate Job Application Details for Search.
- Save your changes.
- Similarly, associate the Data Processing Engine definition that you cloned from Aggregate Job Posting Details for Search, with the Job Posting Searchable Object configuration.
Create Flows to Regularly Run the Data Processing Engine Definitions
Create scheduled flows to regularly run your Data Processing Engine definitions and keep the data in the Job Application Searchable Field and Job Application Posting Field objects current.

- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Flows, and then select Flows.
- Click New Flow.
- Select Start From Scratch, and then click Next.
- Select Schedule-Triggered Flow, and then click Create.
- Enter a start date, start time, and frequency, and then close the window.
- Add the Action element to the canvas.
- In Category, select Data Processing Engine, and then search for and select your Data Processing Engine definition for job application search.
- Enter a label and an API name for the action, and then close the window.

Save and activate your flow.
The definition runs on the schedule you set. Track its progress and status by using Monitor Workflow Services.
- Similarly, create a schedule-triggered flow that runs your Data Processing Engine definition for Job Posting Search.
