Configure Prerequisites for Multi-Section Job Applications
Before you set up job applications with sections, complete these prerequisites.

Enable Form Framework
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Form Framework, and select Form Framework Settings.
- Turn on Create and manage Form Framework.
Assign User Permissions for Multi-Section Job Applications
- Assign these permission sets to users who set up job applications.
- Action Plans
- Form Framework Manager
- Talent Recruitment Management Specialist Access
- OmniStudio Admin
- Assign these permission sets to employees who review job applications.
- Assign these permission sets to your career site users who apply for jobs.
Add Form Framework Components to Application Form Record Page
- Create a record page for the Application Form object, or edit or clone an existing page.
- Add the Form Overview component to the record page.
- On the page canvas, select the Tabs component and, in the Tabs properties panel, click Add Tab.
- Click the newly added tab, and in the Tab Label dropdown list, select Custom.
- In Custom Label, enter Application Overview, and then click Done.
- Select the Form Overview tab on the page canvas and drag Form Overview from the Components list to the tab.
- In the properties panel, in Form Section Configuration, select Intake Form Section.
- In Form Sections Path, select Id → IntakeFormSections.
- To show the required sections together, select Group required sections.
- To show required and optional labels for sections, select Indicate if the section is required or optional.
- Add the Form Review component to the record page.
- On the page canvas, select the Tabs component and, in the Tabs properties panel, click Add Tab.
- Click the newly added tab, and in the Tab Label dropdown list, select Custom.
- In Custom Label, enter Application Review, and then click Done.
- Select the Form Review tab on the page canvas and drag Form Review from the Components list to the tab.
- In the properties panel, in Form Section Configuration, select Intake Form Section.
- In Form Sections Path, select Id → IntakeFormSections.
- Reorder the tabs and set visibility as required.
- Save your changes and activate the page.
Add Form Framework Component to Intake Form Section Record Page
- Create a record page for the Intake Form Section object, or edit or clone an existing page.
- Add the Form Section component to the record page.
- On the page canvas, select the Tabs component and, in the Tabs properties panel, click Add Tab.
- Click the newly added tab, and in the Tab Label dropdown list, select Custom.
- In Custom Label, enter Form Section, and then click Done.
- Select the Form Section tab on the page canvas and drag Form Section from the Components list to the tab.
- In the properties panel, in Form Section Configuration, select Intake Form Section.
- Select a render method.
Method Description View if Submitted Show the sections that aren’t submitted in edit mode, and the sections that are submitted in view mode. A section is considered submitted when the Submitted field on the corresponding intake form section is selected. Edit Show the section in edit mode regardless of the submission status. View Show the section in view mode regardless of the submission status.
- Save your changes and activate the page.
Add Form Framework Components to Application Detail Page
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Digital Experiences, and then select All Sites.
- Click Builder for your career site.
- Click the
icon, and then select the Application Detail page. - Add a new tab.
- Select the Tab Layout component.
- In the properties panel, click Add.
- Click the new tab, and enter Application Overview as its name.
- Save your changes.
- Similarly, add an Application Review tab.
- Click
, and then drag the Form Overview component to the Application
Overview tab. - In the properties panel, in Form Section Configuration, select Intake Form Section.
- In Form Sections Path, select Id → IntakeFormSections.
- To show the required sections together, select Group required sections.
- To show required and optional labels for sections, select Indicate if the section is required or optional.
- Click
, and then drag the Form Review component to the Application
Review tab. - In the properties panel, in Form Section Configuration, select Intake Form Section.
- In Form Sections Path, select Id → IntakeFormSections.
- Preview and publish the site.
- Similarly, add a Application Review tab and the Form Review component to the Application Detail page on your employee site.
Add Object Pages for Intake Form Section
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Digital Experiences, and then select All Sites.
- Click Builder for your career site.
- Click the
icon, and then select New Page. - Select Object Pages.
- Search for and select Intake Form Section, and then click Create. If prompted, click Create again.
- On the Intake Form Section Detail page, remove the Record Banner and Record Information Tabs components.
- Click
icon, and then drag the Form Section component to the content
area of the canvas. - In the properties panel, in Form Section Configuration, select Intake Form Section.
- Select a render method.
