Considerations for Job Application Search

• To enable the Data Processing Engine definition to run successfully, make sure that your source objects don’t have duplicate conditions. The Data Processing Engine definition for job application search returns failed writeback records when:
  • Two or more employment offer records are associated with an application form record
  • Two or more party profile records are associated with a person account
  • Two or more job position recruitment requisition records are associated with the same pair of job position and recruitment requisition records
  • Two or more application form records are associated with the same pair of application form and recruitment requisition records
• If you delete an application form or a person account, or all the person education records associated with a person account, then the Data Processing Engine definition deletes the corresponding job application searchable field record the next time it runs.
• If you delete a record from any other source object, then the Data Processing Engine definition updates the corresponding job application searchable field record the next time it runs. In the updated record, the field from the deleted source record is set to empty.

  • Two or more pay grade records are associated with a position record
  • Two or more job position recruitment requisition records are associated with the same pair of job position and recruitment requisition records
• If you delete a job position, job position recruitment requisition, position, recruitment posting, or recruitment requisition record, then the Data Processing Engine definition deletes the corresponding job posting searchable field record the next time it runs.
• If you delete an occupation, occupation group, position pay grade, or pay grade record, then the Data Processing Engine definition updates the corresponding job posting searchable field record the next time it runs. In the updated record, the field from the deleted source record is set to empty.
