Create your career site in Experience Cloud to:
- Readily integrate the site with Salesforce data: Give job seekers access to data in the Talent Recruitment Management objects and store the information from their job applications in the objects.
- Bring Salesforce features to the site to improve the user experience: Give job seekers access to search experiences, guided flows, and knowledge articles that you create in Public Sector.
- Make the site accessible across devices and browsers.
Start with the Applicant Site for Recruitment template and customize your site as required.
Engage job seekers by adding Salesforce Knowledge articles to your site:
- Tell them about your mission and values, and share examples of how constituents benefit from the work you do.
- Introduce them to the departments and occupations in your organization.
- Describe the career paths and development programs available to employees.
- Show them video testimonials from employees to give them an idea of the work and the workplace.
- Walk them through the hiring process so that they get an idea of the timelines, evaluation stages, and vetting procedures.
The sample home page includes a search experience for job seekers to filter the openings in your organization by criteria such as the title, pay, and location. To give your users the best search experience, modify the search configuration or use it as a reference to create your own configuration.
From the search results, job seekers can view a job posting to learn about the requirements and expectations for an opening and apply for the job. The guided job application flow helps them quickly complete their application and upload supporting documents, and gives them an ID to track the application status. Review the guided flow with your recruitment team to make sure that it captures the required information and customize it as needed.
After the applicants apply for a job, they can track their application status on the Applications page. Customize the list views on the page to show the applications in various stages such as draft, screening, and closed.
- Set Up a Flow to Assign Permissions to Applicants
Before job seekers can apply for a job, they must register as applicant users of your career site. Create a flow to assign the required permissions to applicant users following their registration. Start with the Assign Permission Sets to Applicants flow template and customize the flow as required. - Create Your Career Site from the Template
Use the Applicant Site for Recruitment template and quickly set up your career site in Experience Cloud. Configure guest user access, and customize and publish the site. - Customize the List Views on Applications Page
Create list views for active and closed application forms. Update the Record List components on the My Applications page to use these list views. Disable list view actions and properties that aren’t useful to applicants. - Add a Page for Employment Offers
In the Builder workspace, add a page to your career site. Drag the Record List component to the page and configure the component to show Employment Offer records.
