Set Up Search Experiences for Recruiters and Job Seekers
On the Talent Recruitment Management app, enable recruiters to search for job
applications that match specific hiring criteria. And on your career site, enable job seekers to
search for job postings that match their preferences. Design the search experiences by using the
Criteria-Based Search and Filter framework in Public Sector (formerly Public Sector Solutions).
The Criteria-Based Search and Filter framework gets data that matches a specified set
of conditions from a searchable object. Users specify the search-and-filter criteria as values
for searchable object fields, and the framework filters the searchable object records and gets
the data from them. The search configuration determines the searchable object fields that are
available to users to specify the criteria, and the fields from the matching records that are
included in the search results.
To help you set up job application search with Criteria-Based Search and Filter,
Public Sector provides these sample configurations and components.
A searchable object: Job Application Searchable Field
A Data Processing Engine definition template: Aggregate Job Application Details for
Search
A sample searchable object configuration: Job Application Searchable Object
A sample search configuration: Job Application Search
To filter the applications related to a recruitment requisition, recruiters can use
the Search action on the Application Form Relations related list on the recruitment requisition’s
record page. The Criteria-Based Search and Filter component that recruiters see is configured to
use the Job Application Search configuration.
For job posting search, Public Sector provides these sample configurations
and components.
A searchable object: Job Posting Searchable Field
A Data Processing Engine definition template: Aggregate Job Posting Details for
Search
A sample searchable object configuration: Job Posting Searchable Object
A sample search configuration: Job Posting Search
Job seekers can access the Criteria-Based Search and Filter component on the home
page of the Applicant Site for Recruitment Experience Cloud site template. The component is
configured to use the Job Posting Search configuration.
Search Configurations and Components Review and customize the sample configurations and components as required, or use them as reference to create your configurations.
Map Your Job Application Search Configuration to the Search Action The Search action on the Application Form Relations related list starts the search experience for the Job Application Search configuration. If you created your own search configuration, configure the Search action to use your configuration by updating the Job Application Search custom setting.
