          Set Up Data and Search

          Prepare your applicant profile data, configure the Einstein Search Retriever, and update the necessary flows and prompt templates.

          Required Editions

          Prepare Applicant Profile and Job Data

          1. Confirm that relevant job data exists in objects like Recruitment Posting, Recruitment Requisition, Job Position, and Competency.
          2. Ensure applicants have profiles created, preferably using the standard 'Create Profile' functionality on the Applicant Portal.
            Key objects include Party Profile, Party Profile Address (make sure that the 'Current' type is configured), Person Education, Person Employment, and Person Competency. Accurate and complete profile data is essential for relevant recommendations.

          Configure Einstein Search Retriever

          1. Set up an Einstein Search Retriever for the Recruitment Posting object to allow the agent to find relevant jobs.
            Follow the detailed instructions in your data retriever setup documentation.
          2. Ensure specific fields like Id and Posting Keywords are included in the Search Index and Retriever.
            Important
            Important Allow sufficient time for the data to be indexed after creating the retriever before testing the agent.

          Configure the Prompt Template

          1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Prompt Templates, and select Prompt Templates.
          2. Create a new version of the Find Matching Recruitment Postings prompt template.
          3. Click Insert Resources > Search > Configure Search.
          4. Remove the REPLACE_RETRIEVER_HERE placeholder.
          5. Select the Retriever you configured in the 'Set up data and search' steps.
          6. Set the Search Text input to use the Input:Keywords variable (select Free Text > Keywords).
          7. Leave Output Fields blank.
          8. Apply the changes and activate the new version.

          Configure the Job Recommendation Flow

          1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Flows, and select Flows.
          2. Open and create a new version of the Get Recommended Job Positions flow.
          3. Find the constant named RecruitmentPostingBaseUrl.
          4. Edit the constant's Value to match the base URL for recruitment postings on your specific Applicant Portal site.
            Example format: https://[YourSiteDomain].my.site.com/[path]/s/recruitmentposting/
            Replace [YourSiteDomain] and [path] with your site's specific values.
          5. Save and activate the new flow version.
