Set Up Einstein Generative AI for Public Sector
Enable Einstein generative AI and give users the required permissions to configure or access the generative AI capabilities. Add the Einstein Summary component to the record pages to embed the generative AI features in your users’ workflows. Make sure that you have the Agentforce for Public Sector (formerly Public Sector Solutions) add-on to use the generative AI features.

Turn on these features.
- Set up Program Management.
- Set up Outcome Management.
- Set up Grantmaking.
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Einstein Setup, and then select Einstein Setup.
- Turn on Einstein.
- In Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Einstein Generative AI Settings, and then, under Public Sector Solutions, select Einstein Generative AI Settings.

Turn on Let users access Einstein generative AI features.
You can now use these generative AI features: Application History Overview, Application Version Comparison, Household Overview, License Compliance Summary, and Prior Violation Report.
- To use other generative AI features, turn on Let users access advanced Einstein Generative AI features.
Assign Admin and User Permissions

Assign these permission sets to admins who configure prompt templates and add the
Einstein Summary component to record pages.

Add Einstein Summary to a Record Page
To give users access to the built-in Einstein generative AI features, add the Einstein Summary component to the relevant record pages, and use the corresponding prompt template details.

Here’s how you can add the Einstein Summary component to the Individual Application record page to set up Application History Overview and Application Version Comparison generative AI features. Similarly, add Einstein Summary to the other record pages.
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter App Builder, and then select Lightning App Builder.
- Click New.
- In the page creation wizard, select Record Page, and then click Next.
- Enter a label for the record page.

Search for and select Individual Application as the
object.
Depending on your generative AI feature, select the appropriate object.
- Click Next.
- To create a page prepopulated with standard components, on the Clone Salesforce Default Page tab, select Grouped View Default, and then click Done.
- Drag the Einstein Summary component onto the page canvas.

In the Properties pane, enter a header for the component and a button label.
For example, enter Get Einstein Insights as the header label and Go as the button label.

Specify the prompt template details.
- Select Field Generation as the prompt template type.

Select Create Application History Overview and
Compare Application Versions as the prompt templates
available to users in Einstein Summary.
Depending on your generative AI feature, specify the appropriate prompt template details.
- Select Create Application History Overview and Compare Application Versions as the prompt templates available to users in Einstein Summary.
- Customize the disclaimer that your users see when they access Einstein Summary.
- Save and activate your changes.
Add Fields to Record Page Layouts
For a Field Generation prompt template, users can save the AI-generated response from Einstein Summary to a record field. If the record field isn’t already included in the page layout, add it to the layout for users to view the saved responses.
- For Prior Violation Report, add the Inspection Overview field to the Visit page layout.
- For Application History Overview, add the Application Overview field to the Individual Application page layout.
- For Application Version Comparison, add the Application Change Overview field to the Individual Application page layout.
