Set Up the Job Recommendation Agent

Create the agent from the template, assign user access, and deploy it to your Experience Cloud site.

          Required Editions

          Create and Activate the Agent

          1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Agentforce Agents, and select Agentforce Agents.
          2. Click New Agent.
          3. Select Create from a Template.
          4. Choose the Agentforce Employee Agent template and click Next.
          5. Select the Job Recommendation topic to include its actions. Click Next.
          6. Fill in the agent details (Name, API Name, Description, Role).
          7. Click Create.
The agent opens in Agentforce Builder.
          8. In Agentforce Builder, review the added Job Recommendation topic and its associated actions.
          9. Click Activate.

          Assign Agent Access to Applicants

          1. Create a new Permission Set (for example, Access Job Rec Agent).
          2. In the permission set, go to Agent Access.
          3. Click Edit and add the Job Recommendation Agent to the Enabled Agents list.
          4. Save the permission set.
          5. Assign this Permission Set to your Applicant users who should have access to the agent.

          Deploy the Agent

          1. Configure the Omni-Channel Flow: Select Agentforce Employee Agent in the Route Work action and select the Job Recommendation Agent you created.
          2. Configure the Messaging Channel: Ensure you enable Add User Verification.
          3. Navigate to your Applicant Portal site via Digital Experiences > All Sites > Builder.
          4. Drag the Embedded Messaging component onto your desired page(s).
          5. Configure the component: Select the Embedded Service Deployment you created.
          6. Crucially, enable Add credential-based user verification. This allows the agent to identify the logged-in applicant.
          7. Publish your Experience Cloud site.

          Next Steps:

          • Test the agent thoroughly from the Applicant Portal as a logged-in test user. Ensure profile updates are reflected and recommendations are relevant.
          • Review the specific actions within the Job Recommendation topic in Agentforce Builder to understand the agent's capabilities further.
