          Create an Order

          Skip the quotation and approval phases for straightforward transactions by generating an order record directly. This process enables you to manage sales that require immediate fulfillment without preliminary quote documentation.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
          Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions of Revenue Cloud where Transaction Management is enabled
          User Permissions Needed
          To create orders: PlaceOrder API permission set
          1. On the Orders tab, click New Order.
          2. Enter the order details such as account name, order start date, status, and any other necessary information.
          3. Save your changes.
          4. Select the Related tab.
          5. In the Application Usage Assignments section, click New.
          6. For Application Usage Type, enter RevenueLifecycleManagement.
          7. Save your changes.
          8. Click Lines.
          9. Browse and add products to the order.
            The added products appear in the Order Products section.
