          Sales representatives use specialized actions to duplicate records, adjust pricing, and apply negotiated terms to streamline the transaction lifecycle. These tools ensure consistency across proposals and help sales reps manage complex customer requirements efficiently while reducing manual entry errors.

          The transaction system creates draft records by copying groups and positive-quantity line items from existing transactions. For high-level pricing changes, automated tools apply discounts or total overrides that distribute across all line items based on specified logic. When working with established customers, initiating new transactions from active contracts automatically includes pre-negotiated rates and adjustment schedules. To maintain an effective lifecycle, separate indicators monitor real-time background task progress and verify if a transaction is valid to advance to the next stage.

          • Clone Quotes and Orders
            Duplicate quotes or orders along with their associated line items and groups to save time and ensure data consistency. Cloning reduces manual entry errors by creating an exact draft replica of a source record while leaving the original unchanged.
          • Apply Header Adjustments to Quotes and Orders
            Provide amount and percent discounts or override the total amount for an entire quote or order. Transaction Management automatically distributes these discounts equally or proportionally among line items based on your selected distribution method.             Sales reps can search for and add specific product variations to a quote or order by using Browse Catalog or Quick Add. After adding a variation, such as color or size, the side panel includes its attributes. Sales reps can switch to a different variation by using the change action.

            Map the Calculation Status field and Validation Result field to specific tasks within your pricing and orchestration engine to maintain an effective transaction lifecycle and avoid inaccurate business decisions.
