Implement sharing of your private Consumer Goods Cloud object records by using the
Salesforce platform sharing mechanisms based on your business process.
The Share Visit setting in Consumer Goods Cloud is scheduled for retirement in Spring ’25.
Starting Spring ‘25, visit access will be available only to the owner of the visit. To prevent
loss of visit access and its related records, implement platform based sharing of visit records
before Spring ‘25.
Note If you don’t want to set Public Read/Write as the org-wide default setting for any entity,
you can use the platform’s sharing capabilities such as sharing rules and role-based hierarchy or
change the ownership of the visit record to the appropriate user.
