          Create Custom Formula Fields on Consumer Goods Objects

          Custom formula fields can help you access and understand data at a glance without any manual calculations. Values in formula fields are automatically calculated based on other fields. You can create custom formula fields on some of the key Consumer Goods objects.

          Required Editions

          Available in Lightning Experience in Professional, Unlimited, and Enterprise Editions that have Consumer Goods Cloud enabled.
          1. From Setup, open Object Manager, and select the object that you want to create formula fields on.
            You can create formula fields on any of these objects:
            • Assessment Indicator Definition
            • Assessment Task
            • Assessment Task Content Document
            • Assessment Task Definition
            • Assessment Task Indicator Definition
            • Assessment Task Order
            • Assortment
            • Assortment Product
            • Delivery Task
            • In-Store Location
            • Promotion
            • Promotion Channel
            • Promotion Product
            • Promotion Product Category
            • Retail Location Group
            • Retail Store
            • Retail Store KPI
            • Retail Visit KPI
            • Store Action Plan Template
            • Store Assortment
            • Store Product
            • Visit
            • AI Visit Recommendations
            • AI Visit Recommendation Requests
            • Image
          2. Select Fields & Relationships, and then click New.
          3. From the Data Type list, select Formula, and click Next.
          4. Enter a field label and select a formula return type.
          5. Click Next.
          6. Enter your formula and click Check Syntax to ensure its syntactical accuracy.
          7. Optionally, enter a description and help text for the formula field, and click Next.
          8. Save your changes.
