Configure a Nearby Map Component with an appropriate layer to help your sales managers
visualize and track their territories. For example, you can create a component with a layer to
display retail stores and add the component to the Promotion record page. When on the Promotion
page, sales managers can view the retail stores running the promotion in a map-based
interface.

Important Salesforce is retiring the Maps Live Tracking Mobile subscriptions. If
you have a subscription to this feature through the Consumer Goods Cloud licenses, it's valid
until August 31, 2026. Consider implementing alternative features in your Salesforce Maps
subscription such as Mileage Administration for tracking distance, Check In to validate user locations, and third-party
applications such as TripLog for real-time location viewing. For more information on end-of-life
timeline, replacement options, and actions you need to take, see Knowledge Article: Salesforce Maps Live Mobile Retirement.
Create a Nearby Map Component Create a Nearby Map component with an object to display when added on a record page. When the component is added to an appropriate page, your sales managers can track their business with a glance.
